Were John Adams and Thomas Jefferson Murdered?

During a fascinating and broad ranging interview given in 1998, Katherine "Kay" Griggs told her interviewer that she was convinced that both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were murdered. We believe that her theory has merit.

Griggs gave an explosive tell almost all interview to Rick Strawcutter about what she had learned as the wife of a powerful United States Marine Corps colonel who counted among his personal friends such political heavyweights as Donald Rumsfeld, Brent Scowcroft, Robert McFarlane, and other members of the Bush Crime Syndicate.

One of her many asides included the story of how Jefferson had become financially enmeshed with a certain Uriah Levy, a Jewish thug, who loaned substantial sums of money to the former president who was attempting to fund the University of Virginia which was established in 1819.

Levy, according Griggs, was involved with the Illuminati which had infiltrated the Masonic Lodges of North America under the auspices of the Rothschild clan. Levy was interested in the historical legacy of Jefferson in particular because his cabal of associates wanted to abscond with the famed president's legacy for their own purposes, and especially of the new university.

The core reason for the murder, in Griggs telling of it, was the correspondence between Adams and Jefferson, once bitter rivals, which had revealed a genuine and strong affirmation of Christian principles between the two men. The cultivation of the nation under Christian ideals was an affront, not because of Jewish sensitivities, but because it impeded the advance of their darker occultic aims. Thus obscuring Adams' and Jefferson's beliefs was of paramount importance.

Griggs stated that Levy stole Jefferson's papers almost immediately after he died. But she also notes that both men dying on the same day is too much to swallow without reference to sinister acts. They were murdered on the same day, and July 4th at that, as a symbolic notice that not only had the two men died on the nation's birthday, but that the nation itself was doomed.

The Illuminati, British aristocracy, and other occultists despise freedom and liberty as conceived by the founding fathers. Thus its champions must be silenced at all costs, including murder.

It would be easy to dismiss the thesis, but Griggs hails from presidential stock herself - James Madison to be precise - and other prominent Virginian families such as the Byrds, making her insights somewhat credible. In addition to her elite pedigree, she holds two history degrees and has done specialized research in Scottish and Virginian subjects from which she informs her conclusions.

A skeptic would certainly object that there can be no doubt that both men - nonagenarian and octogenarian - were certainly ready candidates for the Grim Reaper. However, it requires the faith in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny to suppose that both men died on the same day - and July the Fourth at that - in a stroke of fate. Was the grand Clock Maker having fun with us? If so, it wasn't very Deistic of him.

In any event, we believe that there is enough substance to her hypothesis to warrant serious academic research, to which occasion we hope someone rises.

Let's not forget that it wasn't just July 4th, it was the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. For both signers to die on the same day on such an anniversary indeed may have been a symbolic gesture or message as suggested.
